This means there is a high demand for professionals with these skills. Employees often measure the caliber of job candidates by the certifications they have earned. A certification is an internationally recognized credential from a high-tech company or organization such as Microsoft or ICCP (Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals). When you earn a certification, it means that you have proven skills in the computer programming and analysis field, and in a specific company's products. Certification exams can be taken at the SCC Professional Testing and Certification Center. The courses that Seminole Community College provides as part of its professional certification programs are designed to help students prepare for a certification exam. To earn a certification, the student must pass the exam. Passing the courses does not guarantee that the student will pass the exam. |
