Renovation, Remodeling and New Projects

SCC is growing! Several exciting developments are under way that will broaden the College's educational resources. Check this page frequently for construction updates and links to news on further developments as they occur. 

Under Construction

1. SCC-UCF University Partnership Center: SCC's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus is in the midst of a $85 million construction and renovation campaign; the highlight of which is the development of a $33 million four-story SCC/UCF University Partnership Center.
2. Fire Simulator Lab
3. Center for Public Safety: Construction will begin this summer on SCC’s Center for Public Safety, which will bring the Criminal Justice, Fire Science and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Programs together in one prominent location on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.
4. North Faculty Building
5. Loop Road and Parking Lots: As construction commences on the new University Partnership Center, workers will be rebuilding the south loop road to relink the east and west sides of the College's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. As a result, south loop road and the entire visitor and faculty/staff parking lot next to A Building will close indefinitely later this summer.
