DirectConnect to UCF

SCC offers several programs that enable students to seamlessly transfer to one of Florida's public colleges and universities. More than 40 of the College's degrees are completely transferable to state universities.

What is DirectConnect to UCF?

In 2006, SCC and the University of Central Florida joined to develop the DirectConnect to UCF Program to provide SCC students with guaranteed access to UCF. This is just one of the options available to you, so you can continue your education after SCC. All SCC students and alumni who obtain, or have previously obtained, an A.A. (or an A.S. degree from 2000 or later) qualify for the DirectConnect to UCF Program.

The advantages of DirectConnect to UCF include:

  • Hassle-free admissions to UCF;
  • Convenient classroom locations;
  • Enhanced academic advising;
  • Small class sizes;
  • Better student/faculty interaction; and
  • Preferential and concurrent admission of community college students to selective UCF programs.
