Carey Carbeck Fowler, RHIA, CCS

Carey Carbeck Fowler earned her bachelor's degree in business management from Nova University in 1990. She later obtained her ATD in Medical Coding from Seminole Community College and became a certified coding specialist. Fowler then graduated from the University of Central Florida with another bachelor's degree in health information management and became a registered health information administrator.

Fowler has has 15 years of IT experience, working as a business systems analyst in the telecommunications industry, medical coding and information systems management, supporting the HIM portion of the electronic medical record.

Additionally, she is a member of American Health Information Management Association, as well as the Central Florida Health Information Management Association.
